Impro’s new cluster controller modules have radically changed the installation procedure of an access control system. True plug-and-play modular hardware means you simply plug in more units to expand your installation.
When configured for Access Portal Lite, the controller functions as a stand-alone system, or in the Pro configuration a single module will manage some 10,000 tags.
Another benefit of the cluster controller is the on-board intelligence which allows for full off-line functionality in the event of a power failure.
A single cluster controller can manage up to eight reader modules, making it highly cost effective. The controller is available with and without an LCD touch-screen, and housed either in plastic, or a secure metal IPS enclosure.
